The "Call to Purity" Grows!

The Lord has taken this simple booklet and is using it to encourage so many people to pursue sexual purity! We have been amazed at the interest and excitement over the booklet! Families and young adults are being blessed! Youth groups are working through it! Students on campuses want to make it available to their friends! God is jealous for a revolution for sexual purity in our nation!

A New Generation for Transformation!

The Lord spoke to me several months ago and said "a new generation for transformation" and I realized that God was about to start connecting us to the young adult "army" He is raising up around the nation to pray and fast and lead a spiritual "revolution" of intimacy and transformation. So our team has been prayerfully waiting and expectant of what and how the Lord would connect us to this new added focus for our ministry.
We didn't have to wait long! In May we had a powerful meeting with Campus Ministry leaders from 5 University Campuses linking together through the 24/7 Prayer Movement which has hundreds of campus prayer rooms established in the United States. I also met with another key campus ministry leader leading revival on college campuses in Hong Kong and other Asian nations.
Then recently, I taught and met with 50 student leaders that are at IHOP for the "Luke 18 Project" summer internship. Luke 18 Project is a department of the Int'l House of Prayer focused on connecting a grassroots movement of prayer and fasting to raise up young people to be planters of "Prayer Communities" focusing especially on College and University campuses.

Fiji

August 23rd - September 1st we will be leading a team of 13 leaders to the nation of Fiji for a transformation conference and tour of transformed villages! These leaders represent 5 communities where our team has been laboring over the years and we are anticipating a rich spiritual "deposit" of faith for them to carry home to their communities!
During our time in Fiji, we will also be interviewing and gathering more testimonies for our book and to put on our website to encourage those hungry for God's presence!
Please join us in prayer for this special time. If you feel led to support any of these pastors financially please let us know, this is a financial step of faith for many of them.

Hope For Haiti

The Lord has opened a door wide to us to speak into the nation of Haiti, so this nation will be a primary focus for us as a ministry this Fall. The Lord has made it clear He is leading us to sow a message of covenant and transformation among the pastors and leaders - a message desperately need into this devastated nation. We are serving a young leader from Haiti, James Adams, the young man from Haiti that I wrote about in my book "Desperate For His Presence".  

We are partnering with James in Haiti this Fall with 2 very strategic trips, one in October to meet with 100 key pastors followed by a large conference with over 500 pastors in November.
Two months ago Haiti spiraled out of control into the worst crisis they have ever been in. Their food cost increased 50%, gas prices skyrocketed to $7 per litre of gas ($21 per gallon). Violence erupted in the streets and the people couldn't leave their homes because of the shootings, the U.N. pulled out and Americans were evacuated.

In the midst of the chaos, James returned to Haiti in June to meet with leaders who dared attend the meeting. In that meeting James shared the hope for transformation and showed them the Transformation DVD - they erupted in worship and crying out to God! Hope filled their hearts! They have begun to pass the one DVD they have around to each congregation and revival is breaking out in each congregation. Hope is coming to a people that have lived all of their lives in deep darkness that has covered their land for 200 years.
The Sentinel Group is generously giving us a deep discount on the DVD's and we want to bring enough to give one to each pastor - 300 at least!

We need to raise $15,000 for these 2 trips to cover the travel for our team,  purchasing the transformation DVD's, the conference materials and feeding the pastors as they join us. We are trusting God to provide so we can serve these hungry pastors and bring them hope for transformation while this door is open!

Book Project!

Wes and I have had an extraordinary summer of writing together with the Lord. During the 40-day fast, the consistent flow of revelation from God has been far above anything we have ever experienced.  Wes commented that in his 40 years of writing, he has experienced a higher level of anointing for writing during our 40 days this summer than during any comparable period of time ever. We really have enjoyed this special time of revelation, writing and interacting with the Lord about this message!

We have every reason to believe at this point, apart from our subjective bias as authors, that this is going to be a pioneer work that could well become the initial definitive work on the subject of transforming revival.  We believe- in the breadth of what God is doing in bringing redemption to a place of fullness-that this is a front burner issue with God and therefore has powerful contemporary relevance!

The book will be released soon and more information will follow shortly! We covet your prayers during this last "push" to wrap it up and get it published!

Team News

We have had a great summer! Our team participated in the 40-day fast with IHOP focused on the pursuit of God's glory and seeking His face! What an amazing time of focus and preparation for what is to come in the days ahead. For us, the summer has been intense and focused but full of joy and such a sense of gratitude for the interaction we have had with the Lord and expectation of what He has been preparing us for!
The Lord has supernaturally supported our mission financially this summer as we have focused on writing the book. It has caused us to trust Him with a new level of faith! We have paid all of our bills and not come up one dollar short or one day late on our payroll! Thanks to those of you who have stood with us so faithfully this summer! May the Lord bless you abundantly for sowing into our commitment to this new book and time of preparation and fasting!

An update on Jane Adams. Jane went through a crisis physically in May when her transplanted kidney had a sudden decline in function and other alarming symptoms occurred. The doctors finally realized that she was suffering side- effects from 2 prescribed drugs. When these drugs were discontinued, she began to recover immediately and is presently doing very well! We continue to pray for Jane two ways: First, that God would supernaturally sustain and even improve her transplanted kidney's function; Second, that God would supernaturally restore her own shriveled kidneys that have no function whatsoever. This will take an extraordinary miracle and we continue to ask God for it for His glory! Thank you for your prayer and continued intercession for Jane!

As we serve in places that are not able to cover our travel expenses, our regular monthly support becomes a critical foundation for our sustaining the life of the ministry!
